No 1 believed in the Guardians of the Milky way. It's hard to take a group seriously when ii of the members consist of a talking tree and a raccoon. Nonetheless this band of misfits and their talking tree managed to have the earth past storm and go pop civilisation icons.

The Guardians of the Galaxy are now a household name and a permanent fixture of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, resulting in a landslide of fan art of the intergalactic ring of misfits. The post-obit are ten samples of the amazing fan art that has been produced since the picture show'south release.

ten Ramida-R

Starting off the list is a vibrant movie by ramida-r. The artwork has plenty of callbacks toGuardians of the Galaxy from the orb holding the Infinity Stone to Groot's bioluminescent spores. The placement of Rocket on Groot's shoulder shows but how big and the minor the two are compared to the other Guardians. The artist managed to capture the remainder of the Guardians' personalities as they rush forward with weapons drawn and Walkman playing music. Wherever they are going it looks similar they're going to have a boom.

9 Edwinhuang

The Guardians spring into battle in this picture by edwinhuang. The artwork is a redraw of an before slice that they made roughly 5-half dozen years prior with significant improvements. The lines are softer and overall moving picture smoother than earlier. They went with a more anime-style design for the team, incorporated Nebula and Mantis into the groundwork, and removed Star-Lord's mask.

The speed lines behind everyone gives the impression that they are moving at an alarming charge per unit. The shading on Quill and the others look as marvelous as his smug expression. Though if you think about it, Star-Lord isn't that much different from Space Dandy; merely more than competent.

viii PatrickBrown

The Guardians make a grand entrance in PatrickBrown's fan art. The group stands together with Drax and Gamora ready to fight and Star-Lord and Rocket posing like rockstars. With all the lasers effectually them it'due south hard not to want to rock out with them. An apt comparing considering how of import music is to the group, particularly Quill, and how they trash most joints just similar a truthful stone band. If they ever brand it to Earth, it would exist ameliorate and safer if they avoided checking into any hotels.

7 Fgore

In this homage toThe Creation of Adam painting Fgore fills the roles of God and Adam with the Guardians and the Monstrous Inmate from the first film, who was voiced past none other than Nathan Fillion. Every bit funny as it is seeing Groot smile during this it's also a fitting representation of how the grouping came together. In a way, the grouping beginning formed when the inmate attacked Quill and Groot stepped in to save Star-Lord, who is sporting his signature mask. It serves as the beginning moment that any of the members worked together to help each other.

6 Emshin

Afterwards putting this off for three years, Emmshin finally managed to end this beauty. After seeing the first flick in 2014, they did the linework for this slice merely due to poor planning and scheduling they didn't finish coloring until 2017.

Their hard work has paid off because this is wonderful. The backdrop is breathtaking and the Guardians all look ballsy equally they drop down from the Milano ready to fight. A picture this proficient was well worth the wait.

5 KharyRandolph

The Guardians ring together in this collaboration between KharyRandolph and E-mann. The latter helped out with the coloring and the one-time did the linework. They've managed to beat out any misconceptions that the Guardians are merely a silly throwaway squad with this intense shot of them posing. The boosted affect of Thanos looming over them is a nice impact showcasing how much influence the Mad Titan has over their lives. Especially Gamora and Drax. It's hard to believe that this isn't a real comic book cover.

four Jch-Studio

In this picture by jch-studios the Guardians make a bold kickoff impression. Every character is brimming with personality and displaying their cadre characteristics. Star-Lord defiantly flips the bird, Gamora gives a calm, icy stare as she reaches for her weapon fix to have another life, Drax is more than fix to go into a brawl, and Rocket uses Groot to make himself bigger and snarl to intimidate his foes with his teeth. Groot has to be the best part of this for continuing out with his innocent grinning and friendly waving.

3 Diabolumberto/DiegoBernard

Diabolumberto brings the Guardians together in this awesome fan art. They did the coloring for this piece while DiegoBernard helped with the linework. In a rare moment the Guardians show off their serious side as they become ready to boxing an off-screen enemy.

Even Baby Groot looks like he is ready to kick some butt. The flaming molten stone flight behind them gives the paradigm a sense of emergency as if they are beingness attacked past a strength of nature. Though its hard to tell if those are asteroids or molten tendrils.

ii Aseo

This fan poster by Aseo shows off all the major and small characters actualization inGuardians of the Milky way. The staging of this is spectacular, with the lawful Nova Corps on the left, Ronan, Korath, and Nebula on the right, and the Guardians in the middle. A clever way of depicting the characters' moral alignment with Star-Lord and the Guardians in the middle. It'south besides beauteous having the artist draw with just grays, blacks, and reds. It's a shame that this is only a fan-made poster.

1 Tony-Tzanoukakis

Wrapping up this list is this artwork by tony-tzanoukakis inspired fromGuardians of the Milky way Volume 2. They've managed to recreate the opening scene of Star-Lord, Rocket, Drax, and Gamora fighting the Abilisk while Baby Groot is distracted. Except for Groot again, the team looks awesome and even though the Abilisk isn't shown, the tentacles wriggling nigh and wrapping upwardly Drax shows enough to indicate that they are facing a large enemy. Given Drax's impale count, he'll turn out fine.
